Our project was conceived to provide quality career development guidance. For this purpose, we need to understand your background, experience and interests. With your informed consent, we store such data securely to provide you the best service and save you time.

We ensure the protection of users’ personal data in compliance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR; Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council and Law 58/2019). This Policy explains how we handle your personal data (i.e., all information related to you).

Reimagine-U is the name and trademark of our social entrepreneurship project. The legal entity responsible for this project and data treatment is Trapézio - Consultoria e Formação Unipessoal Lda, based in Portugal (commercial registry # 503 925 632).

Data processing principles

Limited, legitimate purposes: we process personal data only as needed for relevant and appropriate purposes - in particular: service provision, relationship management and fulfillment of contractual obligations; provision of information on our services and products (respecting users’ rights to refuse such communications); compliance with legal and regulatory obligations; protection of your interests, other people’s interests, or the public interest; and our own legitimate interests (under the terms of our service provision and except where your rights, freedoms and guarantees prevail).  

Lawful, proportional and transparent use: we process data only as foreseen by law, in particular with your informed consent or when necessary for the purposes listed above. The information we provide you will be clear, concise, intelligible and easily accessible.

Data storage: personal data may be stored for as long as we provide you a service, or as required to fulfill legal or contractual obligations, or for the defense or exercise of rights. We may also store personal data for statistical purposes or public interest archiving, limited to what is needed for this purpose and safeguarding your rights.

Integrity and confidentiality, availability and resilience: we adopt appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security, including protection against unauthorized processing and accidental loss, destruction or damage.

Your data may be communicated to: public entities to comply with legal obligations. 

You have the right to: access and rectify your data, request its portability and, as allowed by law, to limit or object to data processing or have your data erased. These rights may be exercised at reasonable intervals, and without excessive delay or cost, by emailing info@reimagine-u.org.

Changes to this Policy: we reserve the right to change this Policy at any time, in strict compliance with applicable legislation.
